FUNK EPIDEMIC

FUNK EPIDEMIC is an ESSENTIAL SCHOOLING on global funk and soul. Each show focuses on a certain regional genre or country's funk/soul/rock scene of the mid to late 20th century (ex. samba rock, Cambodian rock, habibi funk, Nigeria, Kenya, Ethiopia, Peru, etc.). DJ Enormous also discusses how traditional musical instruments/ forms mixed to make unique, new genres, as well as how these developments interacted with each place's political and social climate.
