Glad4Trad

Traditional folk songs that amuse and educate with singable tunes, many of which have lasted hundreds of years. We encourage listeners to learn new songs, and remember and sing songs they once knew. Our introductions provide interesting backgrounds and relevant history. We welcome and encourage student participation in producing the Glad4Trad program. We develop the shows using an online database and prerecord the shows at our home studio in Kendal. This would be a good opportunity for students interested in folklore and traditional Anglo-American music who can't get or support a show of their own.
